Punjabi Chicken Masala Recipe

To make bestPunjabii chicken we need some ingredients as follows

INGREDIENTS: 

  1. 500 Grams chicken pieces
  2. 4 tomato’s 
  3. 1 table spoon ginger garlic paste
  4. 2 tea spoon red chilli powder
  5. 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
  6. 1 tea spoon black pepper 
  7. 5 cardamom 
  8. Onion chopped
  9. 1 inch cinnamon
  10. 1 tea spoon cumin
  11. Salt for taste
  12. 3 spoon mustard oil
  13. And 1 cup of water

FOR PUNJABI GARAM MASALA INGREDIENTS:
  1. Some coriander leaves 
  2. 2 tea spoon cumin
  3. 10-12 black pepper
  4. 2 bay leafs 
  5. 1 asafoetida
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
  • Firstly grind all punjabi garam masala ingredients which located in red color.
  • After that wash chicken pieces very neatly and cleanly and preheat the oil in a pan.
  • When oil heats in that add cumin and cardamom and fry them, after that add chopped onions and fry it till it gets changes into brown color.
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and cook when it cooks add chopped tomato, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder.
  • Mix all these ingredients very well and cook for 5-7 minutes. then add chicken pieces.
  • On that above add some salt as per your taste then modulate some water and cover the pan and cook for 15-20 minutes on slow flame. 
  • Check if chicken is cooked if cook then it’s ready to serve and if not let it cook for more few minutes
